Full-Volume Blowouts, Manicures & More: Inside Our Airshape Pro NY – Wavytalk

Last month, we officially welcomed the Airshape Pro Air Styler Sets to the Wavytalk lineup, so of course we had to celebrate with an unforgettable NYC pop-up. 

For two days, we took over Chillhouse Soho and transformed it into the ultimate beauty destination, where we married our expertise in hair with Chillhouse's expertise in nails to bring a complete self-care pampering experience to our community.

Our partnership with Chillhouse felt like a perfect match. After all, one of the secrets behind a long-lasting Airshape Pro blowout is letting your curls set in the Auto-Wrapping Rollers for 15-20 minutes. We thought: what better way to fill the time than by sipping a matcha latte, getting a fresh gel manicure and hanging out with fellow beauty enthusiasts?

And so that's what we did - combined great hair, great nails and great company for two days full of pampering, full-volume blowouts and a whole lot of community.

The Main Event: The Full-Volume Blowout

The star of the show was of course our new Airshape Pro Roller Air Styler Set. Guests were treated to complimentary blowouts using the Airshape Pro and its innovative Auto-Wrapping Rollers, giving them a chance to experience the power of the tool firsthand.

Our talented team of professional stylists spent two days creating bouncy, salon-worthy blowouts while sharing expert tips, styling techniques and all the secrets behind achieving long-lasting volume. Beyond the finished look itself, we wanted our guests to feel confident enough to recreate the look at home.

Their response was everything we had hoped for. There was nothing better than watching our guests see their finished blowouts for the first time. Seeing their reactions reminded us why we created this tool in the first place: to make salon-quality blowouts feel accessible, effortless and less damaging to hair.

The Signature Chillhouse Mani

One of the biggest highlights of the pop-up was our partnership with Chillhouse Soho and their team of talented nail artists. While guests got their hair styled, they also received complimentary gel manicures and enjoyed a little extra pampering. The combination of blowouts and manicures turned an ordinary product launch into a full beauty experience.

Coffee, Matcha and Cocktails Kept the Good Vibes Going

No self-care experience is complete without a drink in hand. Throughout the event, the Chill Cafe served handcrafted cocktails, coffee and matcha for guests to enjoy while mingling, exploring the space and waiting for their blowouts to set.

Everyone's Favorite Stop: Wavytalk Plinko

After its appearance at our Coachella activation in April, the Wavytalk Plinko game made its NYC debut at our Airshape Pro pop-up. Quickly becoming one of the most frequented spots at the event, our Plinko game gave guests a chance to win everything from scrunchies to claw clips and even our Airshape Pro Roller Air Styler Set. Everyone was a winner!

Hands-On Styling Stations

For guests that didn't want to get their hair professionally styled, we still felt it was important for them to experience the Airshape Pro firsthand. We set up self-styling stations where guests could play with the tool, style themselves and their friends, and see for themselves why the Airshape Pro is a fan-favorite. Because self-expression is at the heart of our brand, we value giving our community the opportunity to create looks that feel uniquely theirs.

Community Will Always Be Our Favorite Part

As much as we loved celebrating the launch of our Airshape Pro, our favorite part of the entire event was spending time with our community. We loved getting to style your hair, hear your feedback and watch you discover new ways to use the tool for yourselves.
