A Night to Remember: The Wavytalk x Andrew Fitzsimons MET Gala Watch Party

In collaboration with our brand ambassador and longtime partner, celebrity hairstylist Andrew Fitzsimons, we hosted a MET Gala Viewing Party designed to spotlight and celebrate the hairstyling and makeup artist community. Held at The Bar Room NYC, the evening brought together an intimate group of industry creatives for a night of connection, appreciation, and celebration.

Guests were treated to live jazz music, curated cocktails and small bites, a photo booth, and a livestream of the red carpet—transforming the space into a thoughtful, elevated homage to the artistry that powers fashion’s biggest night.

This wasn’t just an event—it was a statement. Hairstylists are integral to the visual storytelling of the red carpet, yet they are often left out of the spotlight. Our goal was to shift that narrative, if only for one night.
