From visiting our community in their homes to pampering our people IRL, Hairs to Our Community was a celebration of the real ones who inspire everything we do: you.
Here’s a look back at some of the incredible moments that made this Community Month so meaningful.
Real Hair Talk, Real Homes

We packed our bags and hit the road—NYC, Dallas, LA—to sit down with you. This wasn’t a campaign shoot or a survey email. This was real talk, at home.
We visited over 20 Wavytalk community members to hear their hairstories, see their routines, and understand what actually works (and doesn’t) when it comes to styling tools.
We sat on couches, peeked into bathroom vanities, watched morning routines unfold, and asked the questions that matter: What are your biggest hair challenges? What tools do you actually love? What would make styling easier, faster, healthier?
The insights we gained are already shaping the future of Wavytalk tools—from better temperature controls to smart attachments that serve real hair types and lifestyles. But beyond the product feedback, what made this special was the connection. Every visit reminded us that hair is personal. It’s history, identity, expression—and we’re honored to be part of that story.

Our First-Ever Community Pampering Night

We wanted to take the connection offline and give back in a way that felt intimate, thoughtful, and so Wavytalk. So we invited members of our NYC community for an evening of pure pampering.
Think of it like the dream self-care night with your besties—hair styling stations (obviously), mini manicures, back and neck massages, astrology readings, good snacks, and even better conversations. There were laughs, hair flips, selfies, and hugs. We created a space where everyone could unwind, feel seen, and just enjoy being part of something beautiful.
More than an event, it felt like a love letter to our community. And judging by the glowing faces and grateful DMs, we’d say it won’t be our last.

April is Hairstylist Appreciation Month, and April 25th marks the official Hairstylist Appreciation Day—but honestly, we think one day isn’t enough.
To honor the stylists who bring our tools to life every single day, we surprised our Wavytalk pro stylists with a curated care package: a fully upgraded pro kit, cupcakes, and some sweet little extras to show our appreciation.
We know what it takes to stand behind the chair for hours on end. To listen. To uplift. To use your hands and your heart to transform someone’s day—sometimes their entire outlook. That’s what hairstylists do. And we see it.
We’ll always be proud to create tools that support their artistry, their creativity, and their hustle. This month, and every month, we thank you for being the magic-makers behind every transformation.

There’s something special about an unexpected thank-you. This month, we handpicked some of our most loyal Wavytalk customers and sent them surprise gift boxes, just to say: we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re so glad you’re here.
Inside were little treats—some of our favorite Wavytalk goodies, exclusive accessories, and notes from the team. Because even though you may not be on camera or behind a chair, you’re the reason we do this work. You trust us with your hair, your routines, your confidence. And we don’t take that lightly.

Mother’s Day: Styled with Love

As a final celebration to close out the month, we invited a few editors who have supported us since day one to come by the Wavytalk office—with a twist. They were encouraged to bring their moms or kids along for an early Mother’s Day celebration.
Together, they got styled using Wavytalk tools, posed for mini photo shoots, made fresh floral bouquets, and shared stories that reminded us just how deeply hair connects generations. It was sweet, joyful, and a beautiful way to honor the relationships that ground us.
It wasn’t just a styling session—it was a moment of connection between mothers and daughters, friends and coworkers, and a brand and its people.
