I'm late to the party when it comes to using a flat iron to curl hair. I've been using a flat iron from 2011 to straighten, and a [popular but expensive brand name] curling wand for curls. I thought I was okay with these options, but my old flat iron hasn't been heating as well lately, and if I'm honest, my curls would only hold if I used a copious amount of expensive hairspray. So I decided to try this one when it went on sale this summer.The pix here are from my first go with this tool, and I used very little hairspray because... well, I didn't know if I would love the results enough to put product on my hair! The photo where I'm wearing a navy blue shirt is from day 1, and the pic with the lighter blue dress is day 3. I have brushed my hair a few times in between. It took 15 minutes to style (including watching a YouTube tutorial!), it's holding beautifully, and I love that my hair isn't weighed down with product.100% I would recommend this styler. I'm kicking myself for struggling with other, subpar options for so long.

So I bought this as a curler, not a straightener. It looked just like the Lange le duo so I bought it on a flash deal and hoped for the best. This thing is amazing especially for the price. Curls held for 2 days. Get it.

I CANNOT STOP playing with my hair. I've straightened and curled my hair, mom's hair and 5 wigs in a day. It's so amazing the technology that's being used to create these curls or bone straight hair.It's not easy to style black hair, synthetic hair, curly coarse hair and make the curls stay in hot humid temperatures. Using Argan Oil Moroccan Mousse to moisten and brush through the hair, 3 squirts is Nexxus Jericho Rose Oil throughout the entire head and this cool blow drying straightener/curler, I have achieved beautiful long lasting curls that stay all day.The Hair Is So Soft with absolutely NO HEAT DAMAGE. It warms and cools quickly creating a curl that locks in place. I tried to curl my pink hair with only 6 curls for the whole head and it worked and provided the results you see in the included images. I'm in love and amazed. It's worth the $17 extra to get the brand product. It's friend, the straightener, is equally just as mind blowing!Definitely 5 stars.
