From popping up in NYC to showing up for our community in bigger, louder, and more meaningful ways, 2025 was a year of innovation for Wavytalk, and we're planning to carry that momentum all the way through 2026.

This year, we didn't just launch products. We launched experiences, grew as a brand, and cultivated stronger relationships with our amazing Wavytalk community, making this year so much more memorable.

Wavytalk's Top 10 Moments From 2025

  1. Our First-Ever Pop-Up in NYC: We officially took Wavytalk offline and into the real world, and what an entrance it was. To celebrate the launch of our game-changing Steamline Pro Straightener Brush, we hosted a limited-time pop-up on NYC's Lower East Side. Our community showed up with more energy and excitement than we could have wished for. From free professional hair styling and hands-on product testing to exclusive gifting, photo ops, and a candy bar, our pop-up showed the city what Wavytalk is all about.
  2. A Times Square Billboard Moment: Our big ideas made it to the biggest screen when we Stream It. Smooth It. Slay It. The campaign lit up Times Square. Seeing Wavytalk on one of the most iconic stages in the world wasn't just a marketing moment; it was a milestone. Proof that a brand built on community, innovation, and accessibility can make waves in the big city and beyond.
  3. MET Gala Magic: We partnered with celebrity stylists to style five showstopping celeb looks at the MET Gala, including Charli XCX, Madonna, and Hunter Schafer. Our innovative tools helped craft some of this year's most talked-about and sought-after looks. To celebrate, in collaboration with our longtime partner and brand ambassador Andrew Fitzsimons, we hosted a MET Gala viewing party for the hairstylists and makeup artists who make these events magical. A night full of live jazz, curated cocktails, and the creatives who truly do it all.
  4. The Wavytalk Styling Van Tour: If good hair on wheels wasn't already a thing, we made it one. Our iconic Styling Van rolled through Manhattan and Brooklyn, then headed to the University of Michigan, and finally cruised down the California coast, making stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego. Each stop delivered pro-level styling, hands-on demos, surprise gifts, games, and unforgettable community moments. From busy city streets to campus quads, the excitement was real.
  5. Launching Our Beloved Hair Talks: We launched our Hair Talks series to start real conversations about hair–no filters, no shame, no taboos. This series reminds and encourages us all to embrace our hair stories and learn how to enhance our natural beauty with confidence. The Wavytalk community's response reminded us how powerful honest dialogue can be when it comes to beauty and self-expression.
  6. Wavytalk IRL: Iconic In-Store Launches: Seeing Wavytalk products on store shelves was a major milestone for us. In 2025, we officially launched in Target (US) and Boots (UK), making it easier for our Wavytalk community to get their hands on our most-loved products. Our FIT Runway27 Partnership: We were honored to be the official hair tools sponsor for our long-time partner, the Fashion Institute of Technology's Runway27 fashion show–an event entirely designed and produced by FIT students.
